For 2025, the SVPP is offering up to $500,000 in funding per applicant to enhance security in K–12 schools. About the School Violence Prevention Program (SVPP)
The SVPP, authorized by the STOP School Violence Act of 2018, provides funding to improve physical security in and around K–12 schools. Managed by the DOJ’s COPS Office, this grant covers 75% of total project costs, helping schools invest in evidence-based technologies and programs to enhance safety.
